I am a bit struck, I got a letter from my dad and I just read it. I think I?ve got reason to believe that he?s changed. This time he wrote me a double sided letter.
I? I love him? I feel guilty towards my mum that I can love him after
everything he did to us. It was actually my step-dad, Johan, who advised me to contact my dad again really, because I?ve only got one. I?m glad I took that advice of him, because a year and a half ago I was suppressing a lot about my past in Scotland and my dad, I was trying to forget all about him. But now I can think freely about it, I?m writing all about my life in my memoir novel. I wrote my dad about it, he even is looking for a publisher in London, isn?t that sweet? Not that my memoir is close to being finished yet though. But I think this is an approval of him that I can write about anything.
I never knew his age, but he says he?s become 50 in May this year, my mum is 42 and Johan 47. I?m almost 23.
Lolz, he says I wouldn?t make a good vet because I got my cat stoned.
He lived on the street for six years since 1997, and he?s got this apartment for 15 months now, but it?s flooded. He says he?s classified disable, I wonder what happened to him.
I feel like packing my bags and going to London for a weekend. Symphony and I could also meet if she?d like. The thing is that London?s rather expensive to sleep. No hotels for me, I just need a bed or something, so a youth hostel perhaps, but a cheap one. I would want to go out all day anyway. Perhaps I can make appointments with a publisher or a literary agent as well?
