Get paid to get laid

So dear bloggers, you all know I’m considering a world trip in the blogging world. But in terms of a real travel around the world. The issue that creates the biggest problem, is how I will get an amount of money which I will gladly spend on my trip.

I have thought this through, and I have come up with a solution which, in fact, I am not too pleased with, I guess as a world travelling prostitute you would make lots of bucks, but I don’t really think this is something I want to do. But well, I’m keeping an open mind because I want to explore every single option to help me monetize my cosmopolibloggers trip. Keeping an open mind is a good resource.

Gosh. Suddenly reminding I’m not really… eh, oh never mind.

In any case, I don’t think prostituting yourself is a good idea at all: it would litter your world trip with probably quite some bad moments. Now if you really enjoy sex with one night(day) stands partners, why don’t you launch a contest to have sex with you only for free if he/she succeeds in offering you a wonderful orgasm ?

More seriously, why don’t you put a permanent ad’ frame on top of your articles, with an invitation to donate by paypal for your world tour and colorful scrollbar moving as the donations increase against a desired target. See a good example here for the Wikipedia-Fr home page. You might find more support from your readers than you may think ? Just my humble opinion…

I think you should be able to find some sponsors, you couls write reviews on your travels of how good certain sponsored products work :)

I remember sponsoring someone locally in my country who travelled through holland on a scootmobile.

As altermind allready stated, add something to the Blog for starters so people can donate and maybe try and find some local companies that are willing to sponsor your World Tour.

These are just basic ideas but i think every bit helps

I already have a donate page on my site but I am not so good in coding, so I wouldn’t know how to change that to my banner
But I know it is a great idea to do that, perhaps I should find a one night who can code my site :-)

Haha, yea thats an idea i suppose!
If you are using wordpress which am sure you are, it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

I would make it a sticky page above your blog posts, something like “My World Tour” where you keep visitors up to date on your plans.

You could implement a donate button and use a contact form for sponsors. Then try and get that post on as many blogs or other links to it as you can.

That way visitors could donate, willing sponsors could sign up and you can keep everyone up to date by creating links to new articles.

I use this contact form on my blogs:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/contact-form-7/

This plugin might be usefull for donations:

Anyway whatever you decide, Good Luck to you :)

    Hey that’s a great idea
I’m just doubting if people would donate anything to some stranger disabled girl to travel around the world… I just don’t see it happening. I will really try this out but at the moment I have it very difficult because I don’t have a lot of assistance. But I really want to make this work!

If you don’t try, you will never know!
I can understand your situation though but surely someone in your surrounding can help out and setup these plugins for you?

I am sure people would be willing to sponsor and or donate to such a project. You might have to give them something in return like writing an article daily whilst on your travels.

A few years ago there was a blog of someone that travelled the world i think it was called let me stay for a day. Found it!
    http://www.letmestayforaday.com/

Within no time he had loads of invites from people willing to sponsor him a place for a few days. There are so many things you could think of and am sure you will.

Maybe call it Don’t let me get paid to get laid or something like that, keep it full of humor.

    Anyhow good luck!
