Convinced is how I felt when I asked my neurologist if there was any correlation between migraine and suicide. I remember he didn’t answer my question accurately. He said something like migraine doesn’t cause depression. But there are lots of depressed people who have migraine. According to me when someone is depressed he will likely think of suicide. So actually I am quite convinced there is a correlation between migraine and suicide. Migraine is the worst kind of pain one can imagine, and it occurs to me a lot that when I have migraine I am automatically thinking of suicide. I find it quite normal that by having tremendous pain one thinks about suicide. I’m so glad there wasn’t any knife in my immediate presence today.
